The State and National Headquarter buildings are two of several buildings and memorials that make up the Indiana War Memorial Plaza, a five block area of downtown Indianapolis, IN. Both buildings are registered on The National Register of Historic Places. The buildings feature Indiana limestone and are considered the finest structures of their kind in the United States. The Tradesmen Group contracted once again with the State of Indiana to preserve these Historical Monuments. The exterior restoration included tuckpointing, stone cleaning, waterproofing and stone patching using Jahn Mortar restoration material. Sealants around all window openings and skyward joints completed this masonry restoration project. Pictured on top is the State Headquarter Building and the National below. |
