The Harding Tomb Memorial is a circular monument of white Georgia marble containing the remains of Warren G. Harding, the 29th President of the United States, and his wife. This pillared monument is nestled in ten acres of landscaped grounds, similar in appearance to a Greek temple. Simplistic in its doric features and open surrounding, this National monument is one of the most beautiful presidential monuments outside of Washington D.C. The Tradesmen Group completed this restoration project in 2002, including the delicate process of marble restoration, flat lock seam copper roof replacement and landscape design. The large cast aluminum circular coping caps were hoisted by crane and set in place atop the monument by our skilled craftsmen. |
