The Heritage Center of Clark County serves as a museum that displays the industrial and agricultural technology contributions made in Springfield, Ohio. This historic building is listed on the National Registry of Historic places.
Once again, The Tradesmen Group has been involved in a multi-phased restoration project. In 1999 we replaced slate on the main roof and constructed and installed two new towers previously removed. Sheet metal cornice repairs were completed during this phase as well as the installation of a new built in gutter liner. The newly constructed towers were built on the ground and hoisted over 150 feet in the air, and set in place by the use of arial cranes.
In 2003/2004 funds were appropriated and the Tradesmen Group was once again privileged to work with a local historic architect on the slate roof replacement project. This historical landmark is a three story brick and stone building spanning over an entire city block. The enormity of this building alone, sets this grand structure apart from other buildings.
