University Hall - Purdue University 2000-2001

University Hall is one of the oldest buildings on the Purdue University Campus and the signature building for the university. Due to previous storm damage, a new steel tower structure was erected and installed by TTG as part of the scope of work. Larry Starner (superintendent) also installed a new flat lock seam copper roof as well as a new slate mansard roof.

Jesse Hunt Hotel - Lawrenceburg, Indiana 2000

The Jesse Hunt Hotel is one of the first three-story buildings along the Ohio River. As part of a revitalization program, the buildings exterior was restored by TTG in 1999. Larry Starner managed the masonry restoration and major stabilization project. Various trades included tuckpointing, brick cleaning, window replacement, major structural stabilization, and roofing were performed to complete the restoration project.

Miami County Courthouse - Peru, Indiana 2001

TTG restored this courthouse in 2001 with Larry Starner managing the restoration project. The project scope of work included dome restoration, copper roofing(flat lock seam & batten seam), skylight fabrication and installation and structural restoration of the dome.

The Well House/ Beck Chapel,

Indiana University, 2000

Larry Starner managed both projects for Indiana University from 1999-2000. The Well House included demolition and rebuilding of this stone structure in its entirety due to structural damage. A Ludowici Spanish clay tile roof was removed and reinstalled as part of the scope of work. Beck Chapel (known as the wedding chapel) required structural upgrades to accommodate a new slate roof. Larry Starner worked closely with Arsee Engineering on the structural integrity of the roofing system.
