Committment- Committment by top management of The Tradesmen Group is displayed on our projects everyday. We are a company that leads by example. Our top management is thoroughly trained in all OSHA regulations. They have full authority to enforce these rules and are certified to teach courses from OSHA standards. They play a key role in the training and enforcement of the company's safety program.
Training- We conduct weekly on site safety meetings to provide our employees with job specific safety training. Each employee is encouraged to make recommendations that they feel will be useful. The topic of our weekly safety meetings are outlined and signed each week by our employees, acknowledging their understanding of the topic. One way to achieve safety is to empower our employees with the knowledge to provide a safe work place.
Enforcement- The Tradesmen Group has a strict disciplinary policy enforced by job superintendents and safety coordinators. Safety coordinators and superintendents play a key role in enforcement of our company safety policy.
OSHA On- Site Consultation Program - Through the OSHA on site consultation program an OSHA representative provides continuous training to all our top level management personnel on fall protection, scaffolding, hazard communication and OSHA construction safety program. This intensive training has enhanced our safety program and facilitated communication between us and OSHA on safety issues.
As part of this program, an OSHA representative visits selected projects each year, makes recommendations and evaluation of job specific safety. We would be happy to schedule your project to be part of our OSHA On Site Consultation Program.
